Firstly, as per the revised JEE Main eligibility criteria 2022, 75% of criteria is removed. For NITs/ IIITs/ GFTIs Admission, Candidates just need to pass class 12 irrespective of percentage.
Firstly you need to clear JEE Mains cutoff so that you are eligible for JEE Advanced and then your college will be decided on the basis of JEE Advanced rank ( in case of IITs).
For NITs, IIITs and GFTIs your JEE Mains rank will be considered.

Of course, you will be eligible for IITs, IIITs and NITs even if you don't have 75% in Board exams. This criterion has been waived off for this year.
Eligibility Criteria JEE Main:
JEE Mains 2022 age limit - There is no age limit for appearing for the exam
Qualifying Examination - Candidates must have passed class 12 or equivalent exam in 2020 or 2021. Candidates appearing for the class 12 board examination in JEE Main 2022 exam will be also eligible.
Subjects to study in 10+2 or equivalent - Candidates must have studied a minimum of 5 subjects which will be considered. They are Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational Subject, Language and any other subject
12th percentage required for JEE Mains 2022 -Candidates should secure a minimum of 75% in the 12th class exam for admission. For BArch admissions, the minimum marks is 50%. Applicants must score 75% marks in the 12th class board exams.
Number of attempts - All aspirants can appear two times a year. Students can appear for JEE Main for three years consecutively therefore the total attempts allowed for each student will be twelve in three years
Eligibility Criteria JEE Advance:
Age Limit – General category candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 1997. Relaxation of 5 years is provided to the candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD category.
Qualifying Examination – A candidate should have appeared for the Class XII (or equivalent) examination for the first time in either 2021 or 2022 with the subjects Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Candidates who had appeared in Class XII (or equivalent) examination, for the first time in 2020 or earlier, are NOT eligible to appear in JEE (Advanced) 2022
JEE Main – The candidates should have qualified the JEE Main examination and must be in the top 2,50,000 candidates in order of merit. The cutoff for admissions into IITs should also be met by the candidates.
Number of Attempts – For JEE Advanced, the candidates would be able to attempt the examination two times in two consecutive years.
IIT Admissions – The candidates should have never taken admission in an IIT irrespective of whether they continued the programme or not or just accepted the seat by reporting at the centre. The candidates who have earlier joined any IIT but had subsequently cancelled their admission will also not be termed eligible for JEE Advanced.
