Hello sir/madam, my gate score is 380 in ECE and i belong to OBC-NCL category , do i have the chances of getting in IITs and NITs.

Hii.Your score is bit less.As per the previous year cutoffs you have less chance of getting good IITs you may get Medium to lower the price to ranked IITs such as IIT Indore, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Patna, IIT Kanpur, IIT Guwahati,etc and good NITs such as NIT Nagpur, NIT Calicut, NIT Rourkela,etc .You can also apply for state government colleges and some private Colleges such as SRM,VIT, BITS,etc.You can also check for Colleges on Careers360 Gate College Predictor.

Hii KG,

yes you can get a IIt for electrical Enginnering- IIT Kanpur.

and there are two NITs which you can get in first round councelling.

  • National Institute of Technology Agartala(Department of Electrical Engineering)
  • National Institute of Technology Patna(Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering)
