AU womens hostel chief warden spoke to girls in seminar today. Anyhow have you got hostel facility in AU??

No jii...I'm not from vizag ...I'm from a village near narsipatnam around 120km from vizag....In au hostel they said after filling up the regular students..then SF students will be given ....my number in waiting list of sf students is 10 so I'm in search of hostel

Really... I'm in search of hostel jii. .so I didn't come today ...may be I'll come Wednesday...ok jii.....anyways I'll try for a regular seat either single or dual...but it will help me getting accommodated in University hostel

Lavanya.you need not to pay money again for second phase counselling. also no need to attend for certificate verification as you’ve already completed that process. plz login to web options with your old ID and password and chosse your desired options for MBA. obviously it would be AUCB i think. today i came to know that from this year onwards we’ll have single specialisation in AUCB also. means, we’ll choose either HR or MARKETING or FINANCE in second year. also many people are craving for any specialisation in AU. even management seats got unprecedented demand. so keep your finance seat in AU for safe side. and try again for AUCB in last phase counselling. btw have you confirmed your finance seat in AU yet??

Yep Kiran jii...I have confirmed it...that means if I change to aucb to 2nd counselling also I can't do dual specialization right??I have to select any one in 2nd year... No dual specialization... students who got regular seat also will have only single specialization..that's it right!!??

good good. you have literally casted a spell of web options that is quite captivating. but remember that your top 5 preferred clzs are top universities in AP. so if,i mean only if,by any chance,you miss mba admisssion in those universities then you ought to get seat in BULLAYYA clz.so I think it would be either MBA in one of first five preferred universities or bullaya for you. Hope for the best always.

If you miss au,svu,jntuk (dual)Then SF courses will be allotted in one of those universities. (may be)If seats unavailability still persists to that courses also then nannayya or nagarjuna or bullayya will catch you there.you won’t go beyond this clzs. but if bullaya also misses then you'll spend 2years in gvp clz. Yes I mean it and Welcome to city of destiny

if you really,by any means,insists to get seat in AU then remember that there will be hardly any 3rd phase counseling kind of thing would take place. which means 2nd phase counselling will be more than enough to fill vacant seats from 1st phase counselling leftover seats.never expect best clzs or universities in 2nd round.and 3rd round is out of the box thought. either of AUSF seat (finance or retail management) is promising for you with the rank u secured and category you belong (don’t blame me if it doesn’t happen). so hope for the best and prepare for worst.

haan. it depends on,no of seats vacant for your category after 28th of this month lavanya. better go to au on 26th and ask them for vacancy of seats category wise for AUCB. btw do you know what is the percentage of seats reserved for your category?? get that details once. i think not so many candidates of your category scored well like you. so there could be chances of vacancy of seats for AUCB. get complete details before 2nd round of counselling. (I've mentioned category term many a times in above answer.because we get seats category wise so can't elaborate details without its mention.no offence at all.plz understand)

It is clearly mentioned in provisional allotment order. They areAllotment orderSeat accepting joining report orderAcademic certificatesXerox copies only as they mentioned.You will submit original certificate at the time of taking admission for verification purposes only. That's all I knew for now.

Lavanya jithat’s again another good listYou have added two more entries to previous list.. right. But the question is have you gone through last year last rank list which is already available on APICET website?? If you didn’t Plz check that list now. then you’ll have comprehensive understanding and probables. with that info yourself can expect where you would get seat for some extent. anyhow we can’t give precise predictions though.

dear lavanya, getting mba seat(dual specialisation) or mba in finance/mba in retail management depends on your category also. so keep other colleges as second option. by the way as per last year data it costs hardly 30k for self finance mba seats if you get through APICET.

In terms of infrastructure,eminent faculty,facilities,placements concerned..AU,BULLAYA and GVP are the best options for mba in vizag. you can expect a promising career with mba degree from these university/colzs. plz remember that in AU SF options keep mba-finance as second option. like1.AU(regular mba/dual specialisation )2.AU SF FINANCE3.AU SF RETAIL MANAGEMENT there‘s a strong demand for mba finance students.alsoevery year in AU retail management is less preferred option. so plz remember that and hope for the best.

yes. AU mba Dept offers marketing specialisation also. it comes under regular mba course i.e, dual specialisation.

As per your rank, you have fair chances of getting Andhra University. Closing rank for AU falls around 1000. And as per previous years data there were students who got MBA seat in AU with rank below 1400 also. It depends on vacancy of seats due to non fulfillment in first round counseling. You really scored well so hope for the best.
