No, you cannot get admission in IIMs only through past academic records.You need to give CAT without that you can get it through.The admission in IIMs is based on merit in CAT exam, education qualification, past experience etc.After shortlisting the candidates based on these parameters the shorlisted candidates be callled for WAT ( written Ability Test) PI ( Personal Interview).After this they finally shortlist the candidates.

However, as you are not giving CAT exam some B - Schools accept exams like XAT, MAT, CMAT etc.You can give those exams.

Hello Sravan !!To get admission in IIM ,CAT is the  mandatory MBA entrance exam for all the IIMS and also for many other top colleges.And...no iim offers admission without clearing the entrance exam with minimum score. Hope the above information may helps you.All the best!!
