There is eligibility criteria for assistant professor in colleges.a candidate must have A competitive exam score, such as the National Eligibility Test (NET), Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE), or State Level Eligibility Test (SET) in economics as you want job in this subject and A Master's degree in Economics or a related field with at least 55% marks.if you are looking for particular college visit their website regularly to know the vacancy details if there is you can apply directly to the college.
Teaching or research experience will help you in getting good colleges but being a fresher you should start your career from a newer colleges as these colleges don't have competition.they let you in if you have phd degree only.
