hello this is sachin Kumar Sharma i passed with 57% in pcm and in English with 61% I'm belong to st category now I'm preparing for diploma in mechanical engineering can i join merchant Navy with it. please reply me because my dream is merchant Navy

Dear student,
The eligibility criteria for merchant navy is as follows for diploma courses:

You should not be over the age of 25 - 28 years.

You must have passed 10+2 level of examination with PCM and English as compulsory subjects if you belong to one year diploma courses.

If you belong to two-year diploma courses, you should have passed with at least 50 per cent marks.
Since there is no criteria for minimum marks in class 12th, so if you have scored according to the eligibility criteria mentioned above then you will be eligible for merchant navy.
