Bio-informatics branch is the branch where student learns the management of field of Computer Science along with the Biological techniques or we can say that it is responsible for advancement in Biological methods.
Basic eligibility criteria for admission to Bio-Informatics :-
The candidate should have passed his 10+2 with minimum 50% aggregate in the field of either PCM or PCB. Also note that some colleges accept admissions in Bio-informatics course through either JEE-Main or NEET, if your son is interest in Mathematics field then he can go with PCM in 10+2 or if he is interested in Biology side then he can go with PCB and can appear for NEET.
There are various UG and PG courses offered in Bio-Informatics like B.Sc in Bio-informatics, B.Tech, BE, M.Sc., M.Tech. and so on.
