Hello Aarti,
To compare between the colleges you should list their facilities and compare them and choose the one suiting your preferences. The facilities are -
A) GIBS BUSINESS SCHOOL -
• the total fees comes to be around 7.5 Lakh per annum. Around 3.5k is for the examination fee for each semester. The students can pay their fee in installments.
• as the students stay in the campus, there are classes taking place the whole day. There are even certain night classes that the students have to attend. Alongside studies, the students are also provided with all year round personality development activities.
• in case of examinations 25 marks are given internally while 75 marks are external. The campus life is good with all year round sports being organised for the students including football, volleyball, cricket, etc. There is a well equipped gym and other facilities as well.
• the college has a good placement ratio due to the good placement cell that they have. The salary packages can be as high as 18k per month. Internships are also provided to the students.
• loans and scholarships are also provided to the students for pursuing their education.
B) NIEC -
• The year fees of this college are 1 lakh rupees, total engineering costs 4 lakh rupees. Fees system is yearly which has to be paid in the month of August.
• placements are given to students which are from major companies like Infosys, IBM, TCS, and a few other small companies. Marketing sector sees the most recruitments than any other like the IT sector. Although the placement packages are average, the internships are not provided by the college so the students have to search and apply for internships on their own.
• faculty is good overall with most of them holding masters and doctorates in their respective fields of education. They help out the students in their problems and provide solutions to the students in terms of their projects as well. The faculty is also research driven and most classes are about finishing the syllabus on time. Teachers also organise seminars for the students. Even the HODs are hardworking and education driven.
• no loans or scholarships are provided to the students. Fees might be waived for economically weak.
C) IPU -
• the fees is quite feasible with the tution fee and hostel fee being well under the one and half Lakh mark.
• the students are offered internships by companies through the college's placement cell. The companies might also conver the internships into PPO in terms of good performance of the interns. But there are no on campus recruitments for the students.
• The college being a government-run institution, the faculty selection process leaves little room for disappointment. But where disappointment steps in is in the attitude of the teachers. Most of them are very committed to their cause and leave no stone unturned
You can now compare and see which of these suits you well.
I hope this helped.
All the best!!
