hello....can someone please tell me what this acupuncture is about...i am very curious to know...it seems to be a good course....so please tell me if this course has some future scope too...thank you

Acupuncture is actually the Chinese medical art of curing people, by inserting needle on body points in order to cure.

Eligibility criteria for this course states that you have to pass minimum Class 10 to get admission in diploma and minimum 10+2 for admission in UG or a medical course. For PG or master level course, you have to pass bachelor's degree in the field of healthcare or alternative medicine. If you hold MBBS degree from a college recognised by the Medical Council of India, then only you are eligible for admission in MD course.

Approximate average salaries per annum for various job profiles are Acupuncturist - trainee (Rs. 1,80,000), Acupuncture consultant (Rs. 4,70,000), Massage therapist (Rs. 8,60,000), Physical Therapist Assistants and Aides (Rs. 3,00,000), Chiropractors (Rs. 10,00,000), Healthcare Diagnosing and Treating Practitioners (Rs. 6,00,000).

Top recruiters are Several Spas and Resorts, Myphysioworks and Academy for Acupuncture.
