Hello..How many marks will be required in aiims 2019 for aiims delhi (UR Category)??And is percentile calculated on total marks .....
Although the conducting authority of the AIIMS Exam doesn't release the marks of the Examinees at the time of result declaration but from the interviews of different toppers and various examinees have led us to a prediction that
If you belong to the UR category, then a score of 152+ will be appreciated in order to have a seat at AIIMS Delhi.
This marks has no relation to the percentile you secure. Percentile is something which is totally dependent on your rank and the total number of Examinees.
The formula to calculate percentile is
Percentile = 100 - ( your AIR/ Total number of Examinees)x100
Suppose your rank in an exam out of 1000 students is 10
Then your percentile will be
100 - (10/1000)x100
=100-1
=99.
Hope you get the point.
And the utility of subject wise percentile is that it helps to provide the rank in case the overall percentile of more than 1 candidate is equal.
