Business Analytics is a course which is in great demand in the market currently due to the nature of the industry dynamics. The data boom requires people to understand the data and take the right decision in developing business, process etc.
You can take up business analytics as a course in your MBA itself as many colleges offer the subject in which you can major. And the placements for Business Analytics course is usually 100% because the industry is hunting for such candidates and is providing high packages.
For example, I am currently pursuing my MBA from IIM Kashipur and we have Analytics as an elective which we can take up as a major or a minor.
So, if you are interested in BA, do go for it. You can also do MS in Business Analytics from foreign universities.
