Latest: Karnataka PGCET Question/Sample PapersDon't Miss: Top Colleges in India accepting Karnataka PGCET score
Admission Alert : MBA @ Dayananda Sagar University. NAAC A+ Accredited
Hi.
PGCET ranks are relative rankings, that means it depends on the highest score achieved in the examination and the 100% score is not the judging criteria. That means if a candidate has 90 marks, which is the highest for that examination will be given rank 1 and candidate with 89 will be rank 2 and if there are 3 candidates with marks 88 then tie breaker is applied:
The total aggregate marks in the qualifying examination of the candidate will be marked. The higher qualifying marks will gain higher merit. If the marks are equal again, then the age of the candidate will be taken in account, where the candidate elder in age will get higher merit. Still, if the merit is tied, the merit will be determined by draw of lots.
There is no appropriate approximation of the rank you will get, as it depends on various factors.
Applications for Admissions are open.
Best of Luck.
