The general eligibility of JEE Mains is that , JEE's state code is The candidate's primary eligibility is not determined by where he or she was born or where he or she currently resides.
If a student has passed the 12th class exam or equivalent exam in one state but has taken the improvement/supplementary exam in another, the state code where the qualifying exam was taken will be used to determine eligibility.
Students who have passed the NIOS 12th class exam or an equivalent exam must select the state of eligibility based on the study center's location.
The State code of eligibility will be supplied based on the permanent address in India as indicated for Indian nationals who have passed class 12th or equivalent from Nepal/Bhutan. Now the percentage of marks for IITs and NITs are
NITs/IIITs/GFTIs Admission: Students should have passed the 12th class with a minimum of 75% marks or they should be in the top 20 percentile in their class 12 exam (65% for SC/ST candidates).
JEE Main 2022 Admission (B.Arch/B.Planning): He/She should have passed a 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognized board with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
