Hello Student,

Industrial engineering is the branch of engineering which is more concerned with the design and operation of industrial processes.

Some of the subjects you'll learn are:-

• Financial Management & Costing
• Project Management
• Reliability Engineering
• Energy Management
• Quantitative Techniques

You should go through them to Know if you're interested enough.



That being said, industrial engineering is a very broad Level stream. It more deals with managing engineering companies. At the end of the day, you may not be an expert in Mechanical engineering laws or Computer coding but you'll Know manufacturing processes, supply chain management, etc.



If you ever want to get absorbed into non technical and Management related jobs in future, it's a good choice.

But job opportunities today in our country are low for Industrial engineers. You might need to complete your post graduation in business or technology before starting to work which would give you an edge over your competitors.
