Hi Shubham
Engineering is the application of scientific knowledge to solve problems. Engineering is the process of implementing theoretical things into practical one.
Subjects like science ( physics, chemistry, biology etc) allows you to gain understanding of the world and universe .
Engineers are problem solvers, communicators , organisers, etc
Some branches of Engineering are:
1. Civil engineering- deals with design, construction, and maintenance of physically and naturally built environment. Includes work like roads , bridge, dams, canals, airports, pipelines etc.
2. Information and technology: it concentrates on study of utilizing computers and telecommunications. Hardware and software sectors are part of information technology
3. Chemical engineering: this branch of Engineering applies physical sciences, life sciences , together with applied mathematics and economics to produce, transform, and properly use chemical, material and energy.
4. Aerospace engineering: this field deals with Development of aircraft and spacecraft. It has 2major and overlapping branches: Astronautical Engineering and Aeronautical Engineering.
5. Electrical engineering: deals with electricity, electronics and electromagnetism
6. Mechanical engineering: helps in understanding working mechanisms of heavy tools and machineries.
7. Computer science engineering: develop computer hardware and software
ENGINEERING has number of branches you can choose any of the following branches based on your interest.
Various types of engineers employ in different areas of science., If you are interested in knowing the details of how things work , then Engineering is best option.
