The examination for NDA will consist of two papers:

Mathematics (300 marks) and

General Ability Test (600 marks)

The candidates will be given a time of two and a half hours to finish the examination as the questions will be objective type questions.

Tips for NDA SSB written exam ;

1. You can go through NCERT books for concept clarity and revision.Class 12th books must be referred for Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry sections and Class 10th books for Biology, Geography, History, Political Science, and Economics
2. make sure that your concepts are absolutely clear so that you can score well in subjects like maths.
3. you can make a revision sheet for maths which consists of all basic points and formulas.
4. Revise basic grammar rules to score high in reading comprehension, basic grammar and vocabulary.
5. never take the english part lightly as it has a weightage of 200 marks.
6. you should be known to current affairs as well,  be prepared for Environment Science and General Science.
7. Current Affairs is one of the most important sections in the entrance exam. The candidates must be well aware of the events that took place, at least five years ago
8. Practice at least one sample paper before sitting for the exam. This will help in understanding the exam pattern and bring better clarity on how to attempt the same.
