And who told you that engineering doesn't provide you jobs? CSE is actually the leading branch in all over the world because technology is increasing day by day continuously. You do get jobs. Sundar Pichai, the CEO of google is an engineer and I have so many other examples. If something interests you, I think it's your passion and you should put all your efforts into it.
