Hi shriyash,  let's first, set the target for your mhtcet preparation.  If you are targeting jamnalal bajaj and if your are from open category then you need to get 99.93 percentile in mhtcet. Let me tell you that mhtcet 2019 was given by the government to IBPS for conducting the exam. iBPS conducts bank po exams and the difficulty level of the exam has gone higher. From last year the number of students increased by about 10000 that means more competition for you. So if you want to start preparing for the test without coaching,  you can get CETKiNg books. They deliver it to your house after you placed the order. I recommend you get the test series of IMS or CETKING. I would choose IMS among the two. You have about a year for preparation. Do your best. Remember cet is all about speed. You have to be lightning fast. JBIMS is only possible at a score of 140 plus. The paper might be the most difficult in the history of cet but the toppers always find a way to get 140 plus and bag a jbims seat.  Since only 60 odd seats are available for general category, the competition is fierce.
