Faculty of Engineering & Technology, Jamia Millia Islamia (A Central University) in collaboration with Pawan Hans Limited (A Govt. of India undertaking) offers a Degree Program namely, B.Sc. (Aeronautics) in Mechanical and Avionics Streams

B.Sc. (Aeronautics) will provide its students a strong aviation background to pursue higher education to acquire top positions in aviation industry

While pursuing this B.Sc. (Aeronautics) Program, interested students would also be able to avail the opportunity to simultaneously appear in various modules of Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA)

Duration

The Duration of the Course is 3-years consisting of 6-semesters. 5 Sem. of the Program will be a combination of theory and practical classes and in the sixth semester the student will undergo practical/hands-on experience on live Helicopter/Aircraft, at Aircraft Maintenance Organisation

Intake

Total intake is 60. There will be 30 seats in each stream (i.e. 30 seats in Mechanical stream and 30 seats in Avionics stream)

Eligibility

Senior Secondary School Certificate (10+2) / Intermediate or its equivalent from a recognized Board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as their main subjects, with not less than 55% marks (aggregate) in PCM.

OR

Three or four years Diploma in Engineering, recognized by AICTE, or a State Board of Technical Education or a University with not less than 55% marks in aggregate.

Note: Foreign students and wards of NRI need to apply through Office of the Foreign Students’ Advisor. Foreign students will have to obtain security clearance through DGCA for admission to this program

Selection Procedure

There will be an Entrance Test of TWO hours duration consisting of MCQs. The admission will be granted purely on merit of Entrance Test and as per University’s reservation policy

Annual Fee

An amount of Rs. 1,30,000/- (Rupees one lakh & thirty thousand) to be paid by the student annually. For more detail, please click here
