Hey! I am in class 12th from science stream non medical and i am interested in b.tech so what type course i should do in my future pls help.
This is the most basic problem which students face after their high school. these are the courses that you should consider.
1. Computer Science and EngineeringWith the IT industry expanding at a phenomenal pace, the demand for software engineers or experts in the computer science engineering field is expected to maintain an increasing trend. Programming languages, software knowledge, program design, coding, project management are some of the highlights of the computer science and engineering course. A lot of national as well as international firms offer lucrative job opportunities to CSE graduates in India and abroad.
Some of the popular companies for computer science engineers are like google, Microsoft, yahoo, Facebook, Amazon, oracle, cisco, Cipro...
If you will be able to do well in this course then no one can stop you from success.
2.
INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
If you have interest in web and internet technology, database management may pursue this course.
Information Technology branch consists of topics related to Information management (storage and retrieving) , Information security, Software engineering, Computer Science, web scripting etc. In short, it is aimed at training students to become Information management experts and put their skills to support various Industries and spheres of life.
The ECE branch of engineering can be exciting if you are very much interested in electrical circuits, signs and signal systems, digital gadgets, power electronics etc. The telecommunication, mobile development and electrical industry is said to progress year after year, hence jobs are plenty.
Popular companies for electronic and communication engineering are like
Bharat electronics limited, Intel, Texas instruments, Samsung, electronics, Toshiba, Sony
There many more courses like electrical engineering, mechanical engineering civil engineering, chemical engineering, aeronautical engineering, biochemical engineering
But for the better future you can adopt the first 3 branches suggested to you.
I hope the courses suggested by me and and their importance will help you to choose your future .
Thank you
You should choose mechanical engineering and it will help you
You must have passed 10+2 with PCM.
and your % in 12th above to 60% for general for top engineering colleges.
There may vary % criteria according to the university.
Good luck.
There are many factors You need to decide before choosing B Tech, It has many departments such as civil, chemical, computer science, Mechanical etc so first You need to decide what is Your Interest and then You need to choose accordingly.
For B Tech You need to take admission into Engineering college, there are many Engineering colleges in the country Both Private and Govt but few Private colleges Provide You with the knowledge as per the industry standards and Most are just factory to make money so choosing the good college is the critical step.
I would advise you to either choose from Govt or Top Private colleges such as VIT, Manipal You can read about them at Carrers360. For You best would be if You can make it to Govt colleges, But remember that it is very hard to get into good Govt colleges, The first choice among all Aspirants is Non-Other than IITs, So keep You focus on IITs if You want to make a good career after B Tech.
Most of the admission are offered Through Joint Entrance exams So Prepare for JEE Main and once You qualify it You can appear for JEE Advance and if You are among the top0.15% of the aspirants who appear for JEE Exams out of 1.5 Million You will be able to get admission into India's Most Prestigious Institute for B Tech.
Now coming to the course as mentioned there are many Branches, We can broadly divide them into two parts One is core and other is specialization. Core Branches are Mechanical, Civil, CSE, Electrical, ECE and Specialization are Metallurgy, Ceramics, Automobile.
If You choose core Branches then there are good chances for You just after B Tech, But for Other Branches, You need to study Further To get best Out of them. Again it is well known that for a Good Placements and Packages Go for CSE, ECE,E EE.
