Thank you
You should choose mechanical engineering and it will help you
There are many factors You need to decide before choosing B Tech, It has many departments such as civil, chemical, computer science, Mechanical etc so first You need to decide what is Your Interest and then You need to choose accordingly.
For B Tech You need to take admission into Engineering college, there are many Engineering colleges in the country Both Private and Govt but few Private colleges Provide You with the knowledge as per the industry standards and Most are just factory to make money so choosing the good college is the critical step.
I would advise you to either choose from Govt or Top Private colleges such as VIT, Manipal You can read about them at Carrers360. For You best would be if You can make it to Govt colleges, But remember that it is very hard to get into good Govt colleges, The first choice among all Aspirants is Non-Other than IITs, So keep You focus on IITs if You want to make a good career after B Tech.
Most of the admission are offered Through Joint Entrance exams So Prepare for JEE Main and once You qualify it You can appear for JEE Advance and if You are among the top0.15% of the aspirants who appear for JEE Exams out of 1.5 Million You will be able to get admission into India's Most Prestigious Institute for B Tech.
Now coming to the course as mentioned there are many Branches, We can broadly divide them into two parts One is core and other is specialization. Core Branches are Mechanical, Civil, CSE, Electrical, ECE and Specialization are Metallurgy, Ceramics, Automobile.
If You choose core Branches then there are good chances for You just after B Tech, But for Other Branches, You need to study Further To get best Out of them. Again it is well known that for a Good Placements and Packages Go for CSE, ECE,E EE.
