Hi dear,

Hope you are doing well!

Now let's go through your question.

As you will be knowing that Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test (IPU CET ) is a university  level entrance exam organized by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) . It is held for admission to UG & PG programs in the field of Engineering, Medical, Dental, Law, and Management.

This year, instead of IPU CET Law, CLAT will be conducted for admissions into the university in 60 cities.

Exam Pattern:

As per the IPU CET Law  Exam Pattern, candidates will be given a questions paper with the total marks of 600 marks and will be conducted in offline mode.

  • There will be 150 questions of four marks each.
  • Candidates will be awarded four marks for each correct answers and there will be deduction of one mark for each incorrect answers.
  • The question paper will consist of multiple choice questions where candidates will be given four options with one correct answer to mark.

IPU CET Cut off is prepared on the basis of availability of seats, number of candidates and the number of seats available.

To get admitted to their desired college, candidates are required to score equal to or more than the released IPU CET Cutoff.

After the release of result and cutoff list, candidates whose name will feature in merit list and who score according to the cutoff will be called for the counselling procedure to be held tentatively from June 18, 2019.

Preparing for IPU CET:

  • Maintain a time-table
  • Analyze mock tests
  • Make notes
  • Cover all the topics included in the syllabus
  • Understand the exam pattern
  • Solve sample papers

NOTE:

  • 85% seats are reserved for candidates of Delhi region which means that the candidates who have passed the qualifying examination from any school/Institute located in NCT of Delhi. These seats will be filled up through the merit /rank list of the respective CET Code prepared for Delhi region candidates. Candidates who have passed the qualifying examination through Distance/Open Education system of any recognized University/ Institute and had his/her Study Centres in Delhi will be considered as Delhi Region Candidates. In such cases, candidates will also be required to prove themselves as Delhi candidates with valid proof.
  • 15% seats are reserved for the candidates outside Delhi which means the candidates who have passed their qualifying degree from any school/Institute outside Delhi.

Hope it helps!

Thank You & All the best!
