Hey there..I am first yr cse btech student..I have not so much interest in coding and work in companies...should I do bsc?
Remember one thing. It's never the wrong time to start the right thing. If your passion is somewhere else do find it and start with that. If you are interested for B.Sc go for it. You can go for Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Geology etc. You can excel in the field of your interest. You can also choose advance courses in B.Sc like Agriculture and allied fields, Biotechnology, Computer Application etc. All depends on your interest.
There is no need to panic. You must know that Completing your Bachelor of Technology(B.Tech) in Computer Science you can work as a as Data Analyst, Software developer, Networking Engineer, Database Administrator, Testing Engineer, Game Developer, Information security specialist. You can also pursue courses like mtech, mba, ssc, etc after completing btech. Btech won't limit your career rather it'll help you in the long run. You can also try to change your stream. Maybe that'll help. Else if you have interest in bsc then you must go for it.. Never do anything just for the sake of doing it.. Rather you should enjoy what you do..
Good Luck
You can drop and do Bsc if you are not interested in doing CSE. And prepare for government job exams and banking, railways exams.
Otherwise think about your interested areas and take a decision accordingly.
Good luck.
Hello Khushboo,
If you are not interested in coding you should not have opted for Computer Science Engineering branch. Now you can either stay in this line and try to cop up but I won't recommend this because it is really hard to do something when you are not interested in doing that. You can either change your stream and get in another college for B. Sc or you can complete the first year and the get your branch changed after the first year. Now it's up to you if you want to be an engineer with a different branch or do B. Sc.
All The Best.
