Admission to RV is on the basis of NATA score. A score above 80 is required for RVCA. A score of 100 is safe and anywhere around 120 to 140 will make your case stronger to get admission in RVCA.
B.Arch. students can secure admission here under the following categories:
1. Through the KCET merit list of the current year as notified and published by KEA.
Candidates seeking admissions under this category shall obtain admission through the CET Cell of Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA). In addition to this, the candidate should must - have/be
Architectural Aptitude – NATA: a valid NATA Score
Qualifying Examination : Minimum 50% (in aggregate) or Second division/class in 10+2/ intermediate/PUC/any other equivalent state exam
A resident of Karnataka state (Domicile)
be older than 17 years (Age limit)

2. Through the Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMED-K).
The candidates seeking admission under this quota should compulsorily register using the online forms hosted on the COMED-K website. COMEDK does not conduct any Common Entrance Test for admission to B.Arch. The following is the weightage for arriving at the rank list for admission through CET/COMED-K:
Architectural Aptitude – NATA: 50% of the marks scored by the candidate (a minimum score of 80 out of 200 for both General Merit and Category Candidates).
Qualifying Examination: The qualifying examination prescribed for admission to B. Arch is 2nd PUC [OR] 10+2 higher secondary or an equivalent examination with Mathematics as one of the evaluative subjects [OR] a 10+3 Diploma recognized by Central / State Government and having obtained at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% marks in case of SC, ST and OBC Candidates of Karnataka).

3. Through Management Quota:
Candidate should secure minimum marks as follows:-
a. 10th Std. Min. 70% in Mathematics and Science subjects separately.
b. 11th Std. Min. 65% in Mathematics and Physics subjects separately / Or
12th Std. Pre-Board exam 65% in Mathematics and Physics subjects separately.
Candidate should compulsorily pass in NATA Exam or any specially designed Aptitude Test in Architecture such as JEE(Architecture) conducted by the competent authority of the Central/State Government.
