Architecture is a vast subject. An architect is one person who knows few things about everything. Not wasting much time, I would like to give you the details of subjects you will get to meet when you join this course.

Things which will be covered in 1st year:

Drawing communication: You get to learn the basics of art, learn about tints, shades, colours, line work, pencil work, sketches, etc.

Art and Design: You learn about product packaging, design, fashion, art, positive and negative spaces, etc.

Architectural Design: You design buildings.

Building Construction: You learn about construction techniques and how they are carried out.

Climatology: You study about climates and how they matter in designing. You also learn about ways to curb the harsh weather.

History of Architecture: History is a great way to know about the past and the changes and challenges resulting in the present. History can work as a teacher and can tell you which styles to choose from the past, and whether or not it is appropriate in the present era.

Sociology: You will understand how social relations and interactions play an important role in shaping up the architecture.

Theory of Structures: You learn about structures and their calculation of loads, etc.

Surveying and Leveling: It tells us how site is surveyed while construction or study.

Model Workshop: You learn to make models using thermocol, sunboards, woods, etc.

Computer and Technology: You will learn how to use various softwares.
