Hey....what is the eligible criteria for appearing in medical entrance test??
There are only 3 medical entrance as of now - NEET UG, AIIMS UG, JIPMER
NEET ELIGIBLITY
The candidate must have completed age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete the age on or before 31st December i.e. the year of his/her admission to the 1st year M.B.B.S./B.D.S.
CourseIndian Nationals, Non Resident Indians (NRIs), Overseas Citizen of India (OCIs), Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs) & Foreign Nationals are eligible
There will be no maximum age limit for NEET 2017 as per the SC order passed on March 31, 2017.
The candidate must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Bio-technology at the qualifying examination.For candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes or Other Backward Classes, the marks obtained must be minimum 40% instead of 50% for General candidates.Further, for persons for locomotor disability of lower limbs, the minimum of 45% marks for General-PH and 40% marks for SC-PH/ST-PH/OBC-PH are required.
The candidates appearing for Class XII examination in 2017 can also appear for the entrance test provisionally subject to their fulfilling the conditions later.
AIIMS MBBS eligibility
Candidates should have qualified 12th board or equivalent examination of 10+2 education system recognised by AIIMS Delhi.
They should have also studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as mandatory subjects in their 10+2 level.In addition to the above conditions, candidates belonging to General and OBC categories should have secured a minimum of 60% marks in the aggregate of aforesaid subjects and those belonging to SC, ST and OPH categories should have obtained at least 50%.
Candidates should have completed a minimum of 17 years of age as on December 31
JIPMER ELIGIBLITY
Candidate must be an Indian national/Overseas citizens of India
Candidates must have completed 17 years of age at the time of admission or will complete the same on or before December 31
There is no maximum age limitA candidate appearing in JIPMER MBBS must have mandatory passed 10+2 or equivalent examination in Biology/Biotechnology, Physics, Chemistry, including practical classes) with English as elective subject as prescribed by the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT)
Candidates belonging to unreserved/General category must have passed 10+2 or equivalent Biology/Biotechnology and English with at least 50% marks taken together in all the subjects.
Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC categories at least 40% marks taken together in all the subjects.
OPH candidates - 45%

Earlier, CBSE had said that the number of attempts a candidate can avail at NEET is limited to three and candidates who had already exhausted their three attempts will not be eligible to appear inNEET 2017.However, as per a new notification released on February 3, 2017, CBSE has rolled back a limitation of three attempts and the examination taken in 2017 will be treated as the first attempt irespective of previous attempts

Eligibility criteria for medical entrance exam is as follows:
1. You should be of 17 years of age at the time of admission or by the 31st of December of the year of your admission.
2. You can have a maximum of 3 attempts for all candidates.
3. A minimum of 50% aggregate is necessary in your 10+2 in the stream (Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology) if you belong to the UR category. In case of the reserved categories, it is 40%.
4. In case you hail from Andhra Pradesh, Telangana or Jammu & Kashmir, you should know that these states have opted out of the All India scheme. So, if you wish to claim eligibility in the 15% All India quota, you need to submit a Self Declaration form online that is to be presented wherever required.
