Hi, According to the new guidelines by UGC NET 2020, the post graduate diploma holders can also appear for NET exams if their diplomas are equivalence with AIU. I am also a pg diploma holder. Can i apply for NET 2020

Yes you can only if your degree certificate is recognized by Indian universities from Association of Indian Universities (AIU) as the eligibility criteria says that Candidates with post-graduate diploma/certificate by Indian University/Institute or foreign degree/diploma/certificate by the foreign University/Institute have to ensure that their diploma/degree/certificate is equivalent to master’s degree recognized by Indian universities from Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
