Hi, am engineering grad having 38 months exp, will appear cat this year, in mock am getting around 60 odd marks, how this can be improved

This suggests you need lot of revision on your basics and rectification of repetitive mistakes, focus on your weak areas and give them alot of practice and revision before attemptibg mock exams.
Once you're confident you'll surely gain an upper hand and you shall see bright results very soon.
Mock exams should be given only when you're fully prepared such that you get consistent scores and your confidence boosts magnificently.

To improve the marks analyse your score first. check where are u making most of the mistakes. Check what is getting u a negative score. Avoid those negatives and focus more on solving those areas where u feel u are strong. Skim through paper questions once to answer selected questions in case you find difficulty in  paper

Before attempting mock papers make sure that you are clear with your basics and have a strong command in quickly answering basic questions.



Now as you are attempting mock paper then after mock paper start analysing the solution which will help you in overcoming your mistakes and come up with a strategy to attempt your paper which will definitely help you in improving your marks and percentile.



Analysing will also help you in to know your strength and weakness which will help you in figuring out the easy questions for you so that you can attempt them first which will gelp you in securing marks and avoiding the chance of silly mistakes or missing any easy question.
