According to your question, the EWS quota (Economically Weaker Section Quota) was established in the year 2019 after the government enacted a 10% reserve for EWS population.
Even for neet ug in the year 2020, the EWS quota was approved in Karnataka.
Under this quota, 10% of the seats in Karnataka state quota are reserved for EWS category.
