According to recent trends in cut offs, securing marks above 400 stand a fair chance at getting a government medical college in the state. Getting above 500 is almost always a sure shot chance at getting a seat in a government medical college in the state.

Do not be disappointed though.

In case you fail to secure a seat with your rank you may consider taking admission in a private medical college. There are a number of private colleges that offer the same level of education as any government college.

Being in general category it's difficult to get a government seat. But never loose a hope and do attend the counsellings. May be you can secure a seat in private college. So all the best
