hi can i get nit seat with air Rank 80000 to 100000 .Im an sc student .if not could u please suggest me how much rank should i get in any nit.suggest me in Air rank wise

There are approximately 23,500 seats in NITs in 2020. In 2021 the total number of seats may increase or decrease. So with AIR in between 80,000-1,00,000 the chances are low to get seat in a NIT. The seat allotment depends on the cut off rank and the cut off rank changes every year depending on number of candidates qualified, difficulty of exam and number of seats available etc. Since you belong to SC category your category rank will be considered for admission you category rank must be within 5000 and to get such rank you need to score minimum 70-90 marks or above in the JEE Main exam, this is based on 2020 rank trend. It is going to change in 2021 depending on top score in the exam, normalized score, number of candidates qualified etc. The AIR rank vs category rank will not be the same always and it is not in your hand to get a cut off rank but you can score the above mentioned marks to have a decent chance of getting seat in a NIT.
