Hi, can I pursue some "short yet nice" culinary course after B.e. Civil Engineering as I certainly got interested in it?
Dear Student,r
Thank you for your query and it is interesting to know about your keen interest for a short term Culinary Course.
Some of the best destinations would be Culinary Academy of India- Osmania University, Hyderabad; Institute of Hotel Management- Pusa, New Delhi;
Amrapali Institute of Hotel Management, Haldwani; Le Cordon Bleu in GD Goenka, Gurgaon. Some of these colleges provide short term courses for whcih you may visit their respective official websites.

Hello Aspirant
One should always follow their passion and study the subjects and skills that one is interested in.
No doubt that Civil Engineering has provided you with a very sound backup and also academic background. Nonetheless, you can pursue diploma and certificate courses in culinary. If you want a written document as a proof of your skill, you should look towards diploma and certificate courses; but if it is okay with only knowing the skill then you can look for courses taught in your city by local level centres. There are many people who have opened such courses and you can join any one of them.
There are different kinds of diplomas that you can pursue. Although most of the diplomas are around 1 year, there are a few available of 6 months as well. Compared to diplomas, certificate courses are shorter.
You can opt for distance learning as well. IGNOU and Anna Malai University have many online courses and programs.
You can also look for institutes such as Culinary Academy, Hyderabad, Le Cordon Bleu in GD Goenka, Gurgaon.
Best of luck!
