Dear student,

I am not very clear with your question. Are you saying that you are not appearing in NEET exam 2021 because you are not so prepared and your 12th result is yet to come?  If this is not your question then do let me know your exact question in comment section.

So, yes you can appear in NEET 2022 very easily but you can appear in NEET 2021 too as appearing students are eligible for NEET too.

Foe this you have to select code 1 of NEET while filling the application, Code 1 says that aspirants who will be taking the Class 12 exam or waiting for the results can choose this code. Students must, however, provide the necessary documentation as proof of eligibility for the exam when the results are announced.

Now as the eligibility criteria your age should not be below 17 years on December 31st 2021.

Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English should be compulsory courses in class 12th, and you should have a minimum aggregate of 50% in PCB.

Now if you want to test yourself by attempting previous year papers. As NEET exams are very near so to give a final touch to your preparation, i will suggest you to solve some mock tests within the time limits, and for this our experts have designed a very well framed mock tests for NEET 2021, you can access by going through the link below.

I hope this answer helps you.

Hi,
I know my Results will fluctuate between 75 - 80%, but Sir, Just a few months back I got infected with COVID in my School and I am unable to prepare for almost 1 and half month and the when the time where I have to apply my full potential, A controversy of Exam cancellation is going on that distracted my mind, and as I'm unable to prepare for such a long time, I personally don't think I'm ready for NEET 2021.

And Sir Another fear is In a regional Pvt University in my location, I have attempted an Entrance Examination for BSc in Zoology but I'm able to Score 66/80. And the college has a requirement is If you can't score min of 70/80 (87%), Then you can't again give their entrance examination, So I'm in fear that, If there is a system like this in NEET, Then I will have to bear a great loss. That's why I am mentally prepared for NEET 2022. But If there is nothing like the above mentioned requirements, I will definitely write NEET this year, So Please clear my doubts regarding this.

Hi aspirant

hope you are doing absolutely fine

There is no problem or issue to give the NEET entrance exam if you are not sure this year. You can give the exam next year as well. Only thing is that if you give the exam this year, you will get the experience  of time management. Also you will get acquired with the pressure that our mind goes while solving the paper. So the next time, you will be less tensed and more confident. This is totally your choice. If you wish to give next year, well and good. Work more this complete year and don't get distracted as many students starts taking it for granted and don't work efficiently.

all the best

hope it helps

Hi

Yes, you can definitely choose not to attempt Neet 2021 and  don't worry you can appear directly appear in NEET 2022 there will be no problem.

This is because,

There is no rule which says that if you skip Neet for this year , you become in eligible for next year neet . So, don't worry you will be eligible for Neet 2022 even if you skip neet  2021 provided

you must have passed 12th board examination with physics, chemistry ,biology/biotechnology and English and must have got:-

  • at least  50  % in aggregate of PCB  i.e Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology  in 12th examination  if belongs to general category

  • at least  40%  in aggregate of PCB if belongs to st/Obc/ Sc

  • at least 45 % in aggregate of PCB in case of pwd candidates to be eligible.

For complete information about neet examination eligibility go through our page for which link is provided below; -

††††† My Personal opinion   :- I would suggest you to appear in NEET 2021 examination instead of skipping it. I know that you are feeling that you are not ready for the examination but trust me this is totally normal and you still have decent time to prepare well for Neet 2021 examination and in the worst case even if you are not able to perform well in NEET 2021 you can  simply take a drop and appear for Neet 2022 but appearing in NEET 2021 will be an added benefit as you will have the Real Experience of Neet examination and you will get to know the types of questions which are asked in the examination, their difficulty level etc so that you can prepare accordingly in your drop year

If you have any other doubt then you can always reach us to clear them :) we are always available to help you out and guide you

Thank you

SHASHWATA NAYAK Hi

No, there's no such rule when it comes to neet. Even if you fail to qualify neet 2021 , you are still eligible for neet 2022 and onwards as well.
