Hello Ashwin

to get admission in India for engineering you have to crack JEE exam if you crack JEE MAINs then you will be eligible for NIT's,IIIT's and many more government colleges and if you crack JEE Advanced then you can get the best colleges which are IIT's you can also give exams of specfic universities like symbiosis, manipal university hold their own exam and if you get a good rank you can get admission you can also give COMEDK then you will be eligible for admission in colleges in Karnataka which is a great state for CSE graduates you can also give WBJEE for admission in colleges in West Bengal with WBJEE if you score very good rank you can get Jadavpur University which is one of the best universities if India. The entrance exams here will be a lot harder than the SAT's so take a year off to get prepared for that .

Hope this helps you
