Hi, How to apply in NIT WARANGAL for MBA on the basis of Mat score.please suggest and how is the placement so far in it.

The intake for NIT Warangal MBA is 60 students. It accepts either CAT ot MAT score. In order to apply you have to fill the application and post it across to NIT Warangal. As per last year timelines, the application opens around 2nd Week of January. A duration close to one month is given during which you can fill the form and post it to NIT Warangal. There are two levels of shortlisting after this.

Based on your application and CAT/MAT score an initial shortlist is released. These students then undergo the GD/PI round and the final results are announced. Then there are two rounds of counselling for admission into NIT Warangal based on the final merit list.

As per reports placed on NIT Warangal website, on an average around 80-90% of the placements are completed by NIT Warangal on campus. The maximum salary is 11-14LPA and the average salary is around 4.5-5LPA. The minimum salary foes to around 3 LPA. Notable companies recruiting on campus include Axis Bank, TCS, Tech Mahindra while students grabbed off campus offers from Deloitte, Reddy Labs etc. (As per 2015-16 report).

Going by these  statistics, I would suggest that if you are interested in doing an MBA, it is advisable to do it from top 20 B Schools which include IIMs, XLRI, FMS, MDI, IIFT, SPJain, NITIE, NMIMS etc. among many more. You can google and get results.

You may consider dropping for an year and grabbing a 95+ percentile to make it into the top B Schools and grab a dream job.
