Hi, I am currently in 2nd year of my graduation, i am doing BBA. I want to know whether appearing for CAT exam next year i.e after my third year will be counted as a drop year? I am busy with my studies, and some internships so i don't want to appear for the CAT exam in my 2nd year.

Hello,
The eligibility criteria of CAT exam are
- The candidates who holds Bachelor’s Degree from any UGC recognized University/ Institute can apply for the exam.
- The candidates who have completed their graduation in B.Tech/B.E from any recognized University/ Institute are also eligible for the exam.
- Also, the final year students of UG can also appear for CAT.
So, you can appear for CAT in your final year and also after completing your graduation. But, you can not appear for the exam in your 2nd year.

So, can I skip this exam in my third year and appear after completing my graduation?
I will enter third year by November. I'm in my 3rd semester now, but will be in 3rd year by November
