Hi, I am expecting around 70-80% in PCM class 12th in CBSE (batch of 2022). I wish to take a drop year to prepare for jee 2023 and since NTA has waived off 75% criteria for NIT's (in JEE 2021 and 2022) for covid batch, considering if i get <75% in boards will I be able to get in NIT's in JEE 2023?

Dear aspirant,
The waiving off of the 75 percentage criteria has not been made as a policy decision yet. So, if they don't waive it off next year, we can't say for sure if they'll make exceptions for the droppers. All this depends on how the COVID situation turns out on what decisions are going to be made. Hence, it is slightly risky to assume that you'll be able to get into NITs next year without >75 percentage marks.
Hope this helps
