hi , i am getting 59 score and 18422 as my clat rank. now what should i do next?
Ask yourself if you are really interested in pursuing law as a career which I'm sorry to say but doesn't appear to be the case as you would have worked harder to get a good rank.
Clat is a tough exam to crack considering the number of applicants but if you really want to become a good and respected lawyer especially in India then it is necessary that you get into one of the top law colleges. There are lots of private universities where law as a subject is taught but you will never enjoy your profession nor will you get the same respect as a person who has studied from say,an NLU after graduation.
Cutting a long story short I don't think you'll be accepted into any good law college. If you are fine with studying in colleges like Jindal Law School then
they might have a place for you.Akin to whether you would prefer IIT or Vit/Manipal...only here also like in every exam merely your preference will not get you what you want.
Else you could try giving the exam once more and drop a year.
Best of luck!
