NEET 2025: Syllabus | Most Scoring concepts | NEET PYQ's (2015-24)
Hello Student, Being some who cracked NEET with a score of 626 and AIR 3166 I think I will be able to guide you.
I will try to help you as much as possible .
Requirements for cracking NEET:
- Firstly you cannot and shouldn't ignore a single chapter in PCB for NEET.
- Secondly having a basic knowledge of mathematics is important for physics, specially the calculus part.
- Regular practice and analysis of doubts and mistakes is a must.
- Theory is important, a crystal clear theory builds a crystal clear concept.
- NCERT BIOLOGY , this is the Bible of Biology . Each and every part of NCERT is important.
- Biology covers 50% of marks and takes the shortest of time to solve, so you got to have strong grasp over this subject.
- Besides studying, building a calm and restful mind is also very important.
- Lastly, time management for cracking NEET is an important skill. It plays a very important role.
Now you know what are the requirements, next you need to know what you have to do for getting 550+
- Try to solve 300–450 questions of each subject weekly.
- Analyse all your doubts atleast 2–3 times.
- Always learn from your mistakes.
- Revision of the full syllabus for 3–5 times is needed if you want to score 600+ .
- Read NCERT biology minimum 5 times and more if possible.
- Try to finish the full syllabus by December, and start giving MOCK tests after that.
- Give Mock tests sincerely, following the actual timing of NEET exam.
- Sleep for atleast 6–8 hours daily .
- Modify your sleep and eating habits accordingly with the NEET schedule. Follow the eating style that your are gonna follow in your NEET exam day. Suppose if exams starts from 2pm then you must finish your brunch by 12pm. Don't make a habit of sleeping during the time when you will be giving you actual NEET exam.
- Go for daily short walks .
- Make daily timetable and commit to it.
- Meditation helps you a lot. Do atleast 10 minutes of it daily. Use the app headspace for this.
- Failure and bad marks in mock tests play a major role in your success. Learn from those mistakes.
- Don't get sad , depressed, overwhelmed and don't waste time. Spend time with your family & don't isolate yourself from everyone else. Keep your friend circle small.
- Take help from youtube channels, there are many awesome channels out there.
- Concentrate more on self study, too much coaching is gonna ruin you.
- Lastly TRUST YOURSELF.
Hope this helps, but trust me you really have to work hard to get 550+.

Dear aspirant,
If by PC you meant physical chemistry then I would suggest you to by coaching module of some good coaching institute and solve the questions given there. These moduls cover all the exceptions and previous year asked question in the subject.
Moreover to get a score of 550 plus you must commit to your preparation and make a timetable to study a minimum of 4 to 6 hours everyday.
the very first step in your preparation journey is to check out the syllabus of neet and then and structure your preparation according to the syllabus within the time slot you chose.
remember it is very important to be consistent throughout your preparation for the exam like mid as it needs consistency more than it needs hard work.
Hope this helps. Thank you.
For practice, again get some coaching material as they covers the syllabus best. You can also check out previous year question banks.
Thanks.
