Dear candidate,

As per your said marks and as per the last year cutoff trend you have almost no chance for the government medical college in west bengal for general category and obc category under the state quota benefit also.

Last year the cutoff for the different categories are as follow under the state quota benefit:

  • General 480+
  • Obc 470+
  • Sc 350+
  • St 180+

If you belong to st or sc then only you have chance to grab seat in the government medical colleges. For more information on colleges and their cutoff marks for the west bengal state follow the below link:

Hey there

Your score is low so you will not get any medical or BDS seat in government colleges. Also west Bengal is a State of high cutoff so you will not get any private seat also. You should try management quota seat you have chances of getting medical seat in management quota. Check West Bengal cutoff for neet

Hello soumik,

You have not mentioned about your reservation category, as the Cutoff differs for every category as well Considering the previous years Cutoff, it seems very difficult to get seat if you belong to General /unreseved category,

But if you belong to reservation category then you have possibility of getting seat in some of the govt college's,

The lowest marks to get seat was 183 under ST category in Murshidabad medical college,

Eventhough don't loose hope as the Cutoff are subject to variations every year,

You can also refer the link below for additional information regarding Cutoff or other colleges of West Bengal:-

I hope the above information is useful to you,

All the best !
