Hello,
In order to study abroad, you need to decide your country of application as the admission requirements often vary from country to country.
For most European countries, Australia, Singapore and New Zealand, you can gain admission through your class 12th marks which should be from a recognized central or state board. They should also meet the university's minimum requirement which is usually 75-80%.
For admission to colleges in USA and Canada, you will need to provide
SAT
scores (or
ACT
scores). These are standardized test scores, therefore, you will have to apply for and sit for the SAT exam in order to apply to any of these institutions.
For admission to medical and law colleges, the standardized tests also differ along with the admission procedure.
As education at the top universities abroad is highly intensive, you will need to show your interest in the subject/area of application through your statement of purpose as well as your future goals and aspirations. You will also need two or three letters of recommendation from academic (or professional) recommenders.
Apart from this, for admission to nearly all colleges abroad, you will need to provide English language proficiency scores. This means you will have to sit for an internationally recognized English language proficiency test like
IELTS
Academic or
TOEFL
iBT. The minimum score for each university also varies for these tests. Some universities in Europe accept English subject scores from class 12th as well.
Please let me know about your area of interest and country/university of application for more information!
Some of the most popular, and most important, international entrance exams for abroad studies include the SAT, MCAT, LSAT, GMAT, GRE, IELTS and the TOEFL.
These are required for admission to universities and colleges in various countries across the globe.
These exams are very tough , and you need a lot of preparation.
However, depending on the country, course or college you are targetting, you may be exempt from standardised exams, but you would still be required to takeone language examto show English language proficiency.
Remember hard work always works.
Goodluck.
