Hi. I am studying in grade 10(CBSE) and i'm not so good in math. I used to get about 60-70% in maths. As im good in science I'm aimimg for medical. Can i manage 11th maths or should i take pure science? :)
Dear Aspirant,
If you are just average student in mathematics and aiming for medical then there is no point in taking mathematics as your subject as it will only increase the academic pressure at there is no deed of mathematics to be a subject for appearing in NEET examination.
To be eligible for NEET exam, you need a minimum of 50% marks in physics chemistry and biology at the age of 17 years. so if you are an average student with 60% in mathematics that I would suggest you should not take mathematics as one of the additional subject rather you could take information practice or computer science all physical education.
Hope this helps. Thank you.
Hi Shivani,
As I have gone through my 11th and 12th with Maths, I can tell you that it is very challenging and will take a lot of practice and hard work to score in. If you do not want Maths, you can choose the Physics, Chemistry and Biology stream with which you will be able to pursue a career in the medical field.
