Hello Harpreet,

To get an merit seat in your under graduation courses first of all you have to decide what course you want to persure. Then find out what are all the colleges that are providing the courses that you wish to opt. Some colleges provide admission directly based on your Intermediate board examination score with merit scholarships if you have a good board score from the recognised board. Some colleges conduct their own entrance examination in which you have to qualify for the eligibility of merit scholarships. Therefore, find out the course that you are intrested to persue and the entrance examination you have to qualify to persue that course.

Hope this Helps.

Good Luck! will be happy to help you with any other doubts.
