No, you can download it. Surely you may visited some malicious websites, which will not help you at all. But, there are only few verified websites from which you can download PDF copy of those books. Search it correctly. You'll find in easily in any browsers. But still I suggest you to buy or issue those books from library. As it will be easier to study for you. Hope you get me.

I think you are facing a problem with your drive. the pdf you downloaded can be seen in your google drive. better check it once. and incase any problem raise a question and we will help you out.
