Hy,

In Tamil Nadu, if you've applied in the general category through the NTA application, you can still apply for the BCM (Backward Classes Muslim) category during state counseling, provided you meet the eligibility criteria for BCM. Here’s what you need to consider:

1. Eligibility :

  • Ensure you meet the criteria for BCM status, including any documentation required to prove your category.

2. Application Process :

  • During the state counseling registration, there should be an option to select your category. Make sure to choose BCM.

3. Documentation :

  • You may need to provide additional documents, such as a caste certificate, to verify your BCM status.

4. Contact Authorities :

  • If you have any doubts, it's advisable to contact the counseling authority in Tamil Nadu for clarification on how to proceed.

5. Keep Track of Deadlines :

  • Ensure you stay updated on application and counseling deadlines to avoid missing any opportunities.
