Mechanical engineering is a evergreen stream .you can work as production engineer , maintenance engineer and quality engineer .There is also a scope in designing. If you go for computer science then you can work on softwares, automobile engineering will help you to show your creativity in designing or different works related to automobile. Have interest in infrastructure design and all then go for the civil side.
Also there are many more streams but above are the most taken by the aspirants.
Hope this information helps you to get better idea about the courses.
Thank you
Hope you are doing well :)
There are various colleges that you can join after taking 1 or 2 year drop.
I am mentioning the top engineering colleges for you and their exams.
-
IIT (including all IITs) - JEE ADVANCE & JEE MAINS
-
NSUT (previously NSIT) - JEE MAINS
-
DTU - JEE MAINS
-
VIT - VITEEE
-
BITS PLANI - BITSAT
-
NIT (including all NITs) - JEE MAINS
- IIIT HYDERABAD (for TECH only) - JEE MAINS
Also as you have mentioned that you are a studying person then getting to these colleges won't be much difficult for you. Since you have studied BIO in 11th and 12th so I will prefer to you to go to other field like ECE than CSE as in CSE you have to do only coding and computer part. If you had studied CS in 11th and 12th it won't be difficult for you but since you have studied bio, you have to start from the beginning.
I am not saying that you can't do it, there are many students who choose CSE in colleges even after not studying CS in 10+2.
So, it's your decision in the end which field you want to choose.
Just clear your basics and start preparing today.
All the best for your future :)
Hope this helps :)
