In order to secure a seat in one of the best Institutes of the state and also in Bangalore, you needed to score a much better rank. The top Institutes like Aditya Academy of Architecture and Design, BMS College of Architecture, RV College of Architecture and MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology demand much better rank that of less than 250 to 300 for general category. The Mediocre Institutes like BMS School of Architecture, CMR University  and Dayanand Sagar College of Architecture provide admission to students with a rank 750 to 800 or less.
