If you talk about top IITs and NITs , they might be difficult to access assuming this is you general rank(based on the previous cutoffs). Although some GFTIs and Government institutes are available. You can try on some NITs like AGARTALA and the east NITs .

Now coming to your question; you stand a chance in your state universities be it NITs ,GFTIs or IIITs.
