You have you have not mentioned any college name. Many colleges gives chance to change the branches. Also if any further rounds are still there then participate in them and choose ece as your branch.

If there are further rounds of counseling then you could wait for them however if no more rounds are left then here is what you can do. You could upgrade or change your branch after joining engineering in that college. However, you might not find this option of the upgrade in every college. Hence make sure that the college you are getting admission into has this option of an upgrade.

Also, you could look for spot round. Maybe if there is a vacant seat in your college, you might be able to get an upgrade.
