Congratulations on your MAT score. I would like to draw your attention to the fact that MAT score is accepted by more than 600 B-schools in India. Certainly, all of them are not top B-schools. If you wish to take admission in a management school this year, you might qualify the cutoff of some well-established B-schools on the basis of your MAT score.

You can use the tool MAT Pathfinder Tool to know which is the most suitable college at your score/percentile. Simply fill the asked details and the tool will provide you the colleges/institutes which are accepting the MAT score that you have got.

However, if you wish to get into the topmost B-schools in the country such as IIMs , IIFT , MDI , FMS , and SP Jain , trying CAT or XAT is certainly a very good idea. You must know that competency level in CAT or XAT is much more than any other management entrance exam in the country and the selection process (Personal Interview, Written Ability Test and Group Discussion) is quite rigorous as well after qualifying these exams.

Now, it's all up to you whether you want to start your management program this year or you want to appear for CAT, XAT or other renowned management entrance exams.
